Author Bio
Nikhilesh Dholakia is Professor Emeritus, University of Rhode Island (URI), and founding co-editor of Markets, Globalization and Development Review (MGDR). Dr. Dholakia's research deals with globalization, technology, innovation, market processes, and consumer culture -- often from critical perspectives.
Deniz Atik is Associate Professor of Marketing, University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and founding co-editor of Markets, Globalization & Development Review. Dr. Atik’s research interest concentrates on transformative consumer research and macromarketing, especially theories of fashion, sustainability, and vulnerable consumers.
Delphine Godefroit-Winkel is Associate Professor of Marketing at the TBS Business School at its campus in Casablanca, Morocco. She enjoys studying the socio-cultural aspects of consumer behavior, particularly in the context of retail, climate change and development. Delphine Godefroit-Winkel is also an ambassador for Morocco at the French Marketing Association.
