Author Bio
Hazal Bayar had her BA degree in University of Bahcesehir, her MA degree in Bournemouth University and her PhD in European Graduate School on Art, Philosophy and Critical Thought. She wrote her dissertation on representation of female hysteria in horror films. She is a part time lecturer in Izmir University of Economics at Cinema and Digital Media Department. Her main research interests are horror cinema, queer and woman’s studies, psychoanalysis. Currently she’s a PhD candidate in Design Studies, Izmir University of Economics.
