Author Bio
Andreas Treske is an author, and filmmaker living in Turkey. He graduated from the University of Television and Film, Munich, where he also taught film and video post-production. He teaches in the Department of Communication and Design at Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey. His academic work focuses on visual communication and media production, including new media.
Aras Ozgun is a media scholar and artist, teaching at the Cinema and Digital Media Department at İzmir University of Economics, Turkey, and Media Studies Graduate Program of the New School for Public Engagement, USA. He studied Political Science (B.Sc.) and Sociology (MS) at Middle East Technical University in Ankara, and Media Studies (MA) and Sociology (Ph.D.) at New School for Social Research in New York. He writes on media, culture and politics, and produces experimental media, photography and video works.
