Mehmet G. Yalcin is a Ph.D. Candidate and instructor in Operations and Supply Chain Management at the University of Rhode Island. He holds M.S. in Structural Engineering and MBA degrees; and has a Green Belt in Lean/Six Sigma (LSS). He has published in Eurasian Journal of Business and Economics, and Decision Sciences Journal of Innovative Education. He has been recognized with research and teaching awards. His research focus is at the interface of sustainability and innovation with the focal point on supply chain ambidexterity (SCX). His other interests include relational factors among supply chain members, process improvement, and humanitarian logistics.
