Biography
Dr. Tracey Sylvester is a board-certified gynecological surgeon who has practiced Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center for over 25 years. She specializes in minimally invasive, advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery, caring for patients with complex pelvic and reproductive conditions. Dr. Sylvester uses her office as a space to educate and empower women to take control of their health. She is a committed advocate for improving healthcare access and reducing disparities in underserved communities, particularly among African American women. Dr. Sylvester also uses her platform to discuss the life altering gynecologic consequences of human trafficking—a subject she is passionate about addressing to bring awareness to the trauma and long-term health impacts faced by survivors.
