Biography
Representative Jonathan Jackson (D-IL) is the U.S. Representative for Illinois' 1st Congressional District, elected in 2023. Born in 1966, the son of Rev. Jesse and Jacqueline Jackson, he served as a national spokesperson for the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. Rep. Jackson received an MBA from Northwestern University in 1991. He worked as a financial analyst; business owner; and professor at City Colleges of Chicago, Kennedy-King College. He serves on the House Committees on Agriculture and Foreign Affairs.
