2021 Seminar: Frontiers of Fashion

The fashion industry is undergoing rapid change as a result of technological advances and cultural shifts. Digitization is changing the retail industry; the pandemic has forced new ways of approaching day-to-day operations that may become permanent; sustainability is a growing concern as is diversity and inclusion in the wake of the Black Lives Matter movement. This year the seminar will explore these "frontiers" of fashion and textiles by inviting speakers from a variety of companies and associations to address the topic.
