Abstract
This paper models and analyzes the infrastructure communication reliability of wireless sensor networks (WSN) with tree topology. Reliability metrics are developed for WSN under five different data delivery models, including sink unicast, anycast, multicast, manycast, and broadcast. An example of WSN with tree topology is analyzed to illustrate the application of the proposed reliability metrics. Reliability results for the five data delivery models are compared and discussed. © RAMS Consultants.
