Abstract
This paper investigates the relationships between infrastructure communication reliability (ICR) of wireless sensor networks (WSN) and different network topology characteristics including connectivity, average path length, average degree, diameter, and clustering coefficient. Based on the binary decision diagrams (BDD)-based method, the ICR of WSN modeled using connected graphs are evaluated. In particular, all five-node connected graphs are studied and their reliability results are compared and discussed. © 2012 IEEE.
