The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship in Oceanography (SURFO) is a 10-week hands-on research experience held at the Graduate School of Oceanography (GSO) of the University of Rhode Island (http://www.gso.uri.edu/education/surfo/). The program is designed primarily for science, math and engineering students who will have just completed their junior year of undergraduate coursework. All SURFO papers generated at the end of each summer session are published as a GSO Technical Report. Digital copies are available from 2000 to 2006, and from 2011 to present.
