Abstract
My podcast “Life in the Medical Field Before, During, and Projected After COVID19” is a mini-series podcast in which I interviewed different members of a local primary care office about their thoughts and experiences being on the frontlines during a global pandemic that escalated exponentially in March of 2020. Lack of PPE and preparation for such a situation caused an already stressful job to become overwhelming where healthcare workers were risking their lives every day to save the lives of others. The goal of this project was to capture how life in this setting has changed during the different stages of COVID we have encountered in the last few months and to gather opinions from varying perspectives in the office. I came up with a series of questions and interviewed the participants one on one. By doing so, I found that this pandemic was a shock to all that nobody was prepared for, including myself. Each interviewee had a variety of responses to the questions and shared their own personal experiences with some overlap in the way they have been affected by our current situation. The numerous interviews are grouped into categories and separated into different episodes to give the listener a collective experience.
