Abstract

SACLANT Undersea Research Center collaborated with the University of Rhode Island Department of Ocean Engineering in developing a prototype Shallow Water Expendable Environmental Profiler (SWEEP) for rapid environment assessment. The first prototype is an anchored profiler. In relation to this effort, the current plan is to develop a Shallow water Environmental Profiler, in Trawl safe, Real time configuration (SEPTR).
