Abstract
An overview is given on the results of the application and verification of ASA's WQMAP three dimensional boundary fitted hydrodynamic model to estimate the circulation and thermal dynamics of Mt. Hope Bay, RI/MA and salinity intrusion in Savannah River, GA. Observations and discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of using such calibration measures are highlighted.
