Abstract

Our aim here is to present a summary of our recent work and a large number of open problems and conjectures on third order rational difference equations of the form xn+1 = α + βxn + γx n-1 + δxn-2/A + Bxn + Cxn-1 + Dxn-2, n = 0, 1,... with non-negative parameters and non-negative initial conditions.
