Abstract

Lorén Spears, Executive Director of the Tomaquag Museum, presented on how to best utilize collections of Indigenous books and archival materials in educating the public, guiding researchers, and exploring the representation of the Native community within libraries. She shared strategies for evaluating books for accuracy, authenticity and Indigenous perspectives.
