Abstract
A summary of a review that determined the approximate cost to acquire a selection of core journals in support of undergraduate programs at the University of Rhode Island. The list was compiled by reviewing the appropriate standard indexes which college libraries use to gain access to the periodical literature. This review does not survey the journals required for our graduate programs [Oceanography, CPAD, GSLIS, Audiology, etc], newspapers, reference / electronic serials,etc.
