Abstract
The solubility of No. 2 fuel oil in sea water is studied using gas chromatographic techniques. Evidence is presented for the existence of accommodated (particulate or droplet), solubilized (colloidal micelles) and soluble hydrocarbon components in fuel oil-sea water mixtures. © 1974.
