Abstract

An investigation of the effect of various thermal stabilizing additives on thermally abused lithium-ion batteries was conducted. Vinylene Carbonate (VC) and Dimethyl Acetamide (DMAc) were found to diminish the effects of thermal abuse. copyright The Electrochemical Society.
