Abstract
Coprecipitations of calcium and magnesium hydroxides from relatively highly supersaturated aqueous solutions were performed. Through the product was largely composed of a mixture of Ca(OH)2 and Mg(OH)2 particulates, some evidence of incorporation of foreign ions on an atomic scale was seen. The coprecipitation yielded another product - an unusual, spherulitic type of a polycrystal. © 1989.
