Abstract
Intrinsically conductive polymers (ICPs) can provide anticorrosive effects in coatings through a reversible etectroactive process. A "double-strand" ICP has been produced which gives effective corrosion protection and overcomes problems of coatings compatibility and poor stability associated with standard ICPs.
