Abstract

This paper describes procedures for determining the financial and ecological effects of end-of-life disassembly. Methods for optimizing the disassembly sequences to release valuable or environmentally beneficial items as early as possible are outlined. Application of these procedures to a range of typical electromechanical products is described.
