Semi-LFT gain-scheduling output regulation of parameter-dependent LFT systems

In this paper, we propose a novel gain-scheduling control approach for almost output regulation of a class of parameter-dependent uncertain systems. The uncertain system under consideration is represented in the general form of linear fractional transformation (LFT) with time-varying parametric uncertainties and unknown external perturbations. A novel semi-LFT gain-scheduling output regulator structure is proposed. The resulting output regulation control synthesis conditions are formulated as a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) plus parameter-dependent linear matrix equations, which can be solved effectively via convex optimization. A numerical example has been used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
