Isobaric Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium Data for the System n-Hexane-2-Propanol

Abstract

Vapor-liquid equilibrium data have been determined at 760 ± 2 and 380 ± 1 mmHg in an Altsheler still. The binary mixtures were analyzed by density composition data. The activity coefficient curve for n-hexane at 380 mmHg exhibits a maximum. The experimental data at both pressures were thermodynamically consistent when tested by Herrington's method. © 1977, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
