Abstract
This is a spreadsheet of library expenditure data prepared for NEASC's five-year accreditation visit to the University of Rhode Island in fall 2012. It presents time series data from 1995/96 to 2010/11 on total library serials expenditures (for periodical and database subscriptions), number of serials purchased (total and online-only), expenditures on serials as a percentage of total materials expenditures, and purchasing power of the library's serials budget calculated by deflating serials expenditures by the U.S. Periodicals Price Index to 1995 dollars.
