The advent of digital technology has radically changed the textile and apparel business. It has speeded up and simplified everything from the ways in which textiles and apparel are produced, marketed, and sold to the way information is disseminated. The Spring 2014 seminar explored the rapidly changing world of digital technology and its effect on fashion and textiles by inviting speakers from a variety of companies and institutions to address the topic. The class concluded with student presenters who earned an additional credit by researching a related topic of their own choice. The seminar is an advanced class designed to bring together subject matter from the entire TMD curriculum.
