Abstract
This entry describes Chinese harmony from three perspectives as an attempt to help people better understand Chinese culture and communication in the globalizing society. First, the philosophical foundation of Chinese harmony is explained; second, 10 key concepts surrounding Chinese harmony are explicated; and third, three observable communication behaviors that realize Chinese harmony are discussed.
