Abstract
This is the statement created in the Equity Council Subcommittee on LGBTIQQ Concerns meeting on August 23rd that endorses the list of demands as presented by students affiliated with URI GSA and the GLBT Center.

Kusz; Joe Santiago; Andrew Winters; The Equity Council recognizes the issues concerning discrimination, harassment, and safety of LGBTIQQ students, faculty, and staff can not continue and swift intervention this semester on the part of the University administration must take place.; The Equity Council wholeheartedly endorses the list of demands as presented by students affiliated with URI GSA and the GLBT Center. The Equity Council also agrees to continue to support the work of the recently established ‘Equity Council Subcommittee on LGBTIQQ Concerns’ working with the aforementioned students and staff to address timelines, cultural sensitivity education, and other relevant issues.; The Equity Council agrees to join in the process of educating and sensitizing the University community to LGBTIQQ issues.; Kevin Cruz; Justin Willner; Riley Davis
