Existence, stability, boundedness, and periodicity of some difference equations
Abstract
We investigate the global character of the positive solutions of xn+1=a+bxn-2 Axn-1+Bxn-2 n=0,1,2,&ldots; where the parameters α, β, A, and B are non-negative.^ We investigate the global character of solutions of xn+1=axn-1+bxn cxn-1+dxnxn n=0,1,2,&ldots; with real parameters and real initial conditions. ^ We investigate the global stability, the periodic nature, and the boundedness character of the solutions of yn+1=yn-2k+1 +pyn-2k+1 +qyn-2l n=0,1,2,&ldots; where p and q are positive real numbers, k and l are non-negative integers, and the initial conditions are positive real numbers. ^
